Kept: terms of use

What this service is

Kept is a private task-capture tool operated by Kyle Hudson for his own use. It has one user. There is no public signup, no paid plan, and no account available to anyone else. Signing in is restricted to the owner’s email address; any other sign-in attempt is refused.

Acceptable use

Because the service has a single authorised user, use by anyone else is unauthorised. Do not attempt to access the application, its API endpoints, its phone number, or its email address without permission.

Messaging

SMS to and from the Kept phone number is governed by the SMS opt-in and consent policy. In short: only the owner’s phone may message the number, messages from anyone else are ignored, STOP stops all messages, HELP returns contact details, and message and data rates may apply.

Data

What the service stores and who processes it is described in the privacy policy.

No warranty

The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It is a personal tool under active development and may change, break, or be discontinued at any time without notice. The operator is not liable for any loss arising from its use, including lost or unrecoverable notes.

These terms may change as the service changes. The date at the top reflects the current version.
